Article 2 provides for the interpretation of the term “Protocol” in the context of the present Law, as the Protocol to the Forced Labour Convention, 1930 (Convention N° 29) of the International Labour Organization, approved in the 103rd Session of the General Conference on 28 May 2014, the accession to which has been approved by the Ministerial Council under its Decision N° 79.561, dated 07.10.2015.

Article 3 provides for the ratification of the Protocol.

Article 4 sets forth the issuance of Regulations by the Ministerial Council in view of better implementing the provisions of the present Law and of the Protocol, which may provide for criminal offences in case of breach and for sanctions against the commitment thereof.

The Law includes an Index to article 3, which in its PART I, provides for the original text of the Protocol in English, whereas in its PART II for the translated text in Greek.
