El acuerdo referido establece y norma la protección relativa a los riesgos de maternidad, control de niño sano y accidentes, otorgada por el Instituto Guatemalteco de Seguridad Social como un programa de cobertura especial, con carácter progresivo y obligatorio, para trabajadoras domésticas. El Reglamento del Programa Especial de Protección para Trabajadoras de Casa Particular -PRECAPI- se estructura de la siguiente manera:
