Abstract/Citation
The purpose of this regulation is updating and adapting the issues relating to casting industry in accordance with technological advancement, safety of workshops, safeguarding of human resources and prevention of work-related accidents in all workshops in which casting machinery and equipment and related processes other than die-casting, continuous and semi-continuous casting are used.
This regulation includes 12 chapters, 337 articles and 6 notes. The titles of chapters are respectively as follows: Definitions, General safety requirement, Sand preparation, moulding and core making, Melting and pouring, Ladles, Molten metal handling and pouring equipment, Maintenance and inspection, Molten metal treatment, Cleaning and finishing, Permanent mould casting machines, Centrifugal casting machines and Miscellaneous provisions.
