Paid Parental Leave Amendment (More Support for Working Families) Act 2024
Abstract/Citation
This Act aims to amend the Paid Parental Leave Act 2010 to provide greater support for working families by increasing the number of flexible paid parental leave days available over time, expanding eligibility criteria (including for special circumstances), and introducing provisions to ensure equitable access to leave based on factors such as residency and exceptional conditions, including stillbirth and pregnancy-related complications.
