Abstract/Citation
The aim of the 2025 amendment to Sudan’s Transitional Constitutional Document is to extend the transitional period by 39 months to allow for the continued establishment of democratic institutions and reforms. It seeks to restructure the governance framework, increasing military representation in the Sovereignty Council, while reshaping the country's political landscape. The amendment also addresses national security and governance issues while promoting the transition toward a stable and democratic Sudan.
