This Order amends paragraphs 1 and 14 of the Minimum Wages and Conditions of Employment (Truck and Bus Drivers) Order, 2020, in order to establish the employer's obligation to pay a subsistence allowance to a driver who spends a night away from home to attend to any employer's business, or undertakes an international trip, when the employer does not provide or pay accommodation to the driver while on duty or the truck does not have a sleeper cab. It also amends paragraph 15 in order to provide for the employer's obligation to pay a driver of dangerous goods or abnormal load a risk allowance per trip kilometer.
