Abstract/Citation
These regulations insert a new Part 3A ("Benefits in respect of periods before amendment day") into the Judicial Pensions (Fee-Paid Judges) (Amendment)
Regulations 2023. They also insert new regulations 7A (“Qualifying judicial offices with retrospective entitlements") and 117A (“Employer Cost Cap") and amend regulations 62 and 84 of the Judicial Pensions Regulations 2022(3) (“the 2022 Regulations”); amend regulations 2, 9, 11C, 55, 55A, 58A, 62, 65, 66, 67, 69A, 104, 107, 117, 128A, 128B, 128C, 128D, 128E, 128I, 128J, 128K, 128N, 128R, 128S, 128T, 128V and 128X, Schedule 1 (Judicial Offices) and Parts 14A and 14B, and insert Schedules 4 (personal benefits and family benefits percentage figures) and 5 (service credit figures) of the Judicial Pensions (Fee-Paid Judges) Regulations 2017; insert new regulation 13A (“Qualifying judicial offices with retrospective entitlements") into the Judicial Pensions Regulations 2015; and finally amend the Schedule (specified judicial offices) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013 (Judicial Offices) Order 2015.
