Decree-Law No. 1 of 2025 provides for the suspension of all legal effects of Law No. 5 of 2023 concerning the establishment of a Supreme Constitutional Court. The decree aims to halt the implementation of the previous law and prevent any legal consequences arising from it, pending the resolution of related constitutional and legal issues. As a result, the procedures and arrangements associated with establishing the Supreme Constitutional Court are temporarily suspended, ensuring legal stability and avoiding conflicting institutional measures.
