This Royal Decree enacts a comprehensive law to protect and promote the rights of persons with disabilities in the Sultanate of Oman. The law establishes principles for non-discrimination, accessibility, inclusion, education, employment, and healthcare for persons with disabilities. It outlines the responsibilities of public authorities, private entities, and society at large to ensure equal opportunities and participation for persons with disabilities. The law also provides mechanisms for monitoring, enforcement, and legal protection of their rights.
