Abstract/Citation
This Act consists of five parts. Part I, entitled General Provisions, begins as follows: "Any citizen may carry on entrepreneurial activity in his personal capacity subject to the restrictions and conditions prescribed in this Act". No limit is imposed on the number of his employees or on the amount of his capital. The other parts are respectively entitled "Requirements to be met by entreprenuers" (registration of enterprises and other administrative provisions). "Legal relationships binding entrepreneurs" (in particular employment relationships; applicability of ss.187 to 205b-compensation for damage, enterprise liability- of the Labour Code (LS, 1975-Cz. 2) as amended on 14 December 1988), "Judicial supervision" and "Transitional and final provisions" (including repeal of certain provisions of the Decree of 24 October 1945 and of the Act of 28 April 1948 respecting the nationalisation of certain industrial undertakings).
