Second Region

An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to public order. Sets forth penalties for persons breaching the public order, and includes such offences as public insult, intimidation, throwing of missiles, idle and disorderly persons, rogues and vagabonds, drunkeness, beating drums, riotous conduct, street noises and trespass. Prohibits carrying of offensive weapons, regulates processions and public meetings. Sets forth provisions regarding defamation and seditious libel, and public emergencies. Repeals various prior legislation.
