Social Assistance Act [commencement: 1 Apr. 1976. On that date repeals Act No. 118 of 7 Apr. 1936 respecting subsidies for workers' centres, Act No. 119 of 15 Mar. 1939 respecting institutions for assistance to mothers, the Rehabilitation Act (No. 170 of 29 Apr. 1960: LS 1960 - Den.1), the Public Assistance Act (No. 169 of 31 May 1961), Act No. 193 of 4 June 1964 respecting assistance to children and young persons, Act No. 229 of 6 June 1968 respecting assistance to disability and national pensioners and Act No. 230 of 6 June 1968 respecting assistance in the home, all as subsequently amended. No. 333.
