Purposes: to enable orders to be made about maternity leave, to enable rulings to be made that persons are employers or employees in tyhe road transport industry and to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the administration of the Industrial Relations Act 1979. Makes various amendments to that Act, including addition of a new Part VIIA.-Maternity Leave.
