As a general rule, the basis for the calculation of health insurance contributions for farmers is the farmer's income as declared to the relevant Farmer's Social Insurance Fund. The aforesaid contributions are submitted on a monthly basis. Made under the 6 February 1997 National Health Insurance Act.
