Provides for risk assessment for work involving biological agents, prevention and control of exposure to biological agents, training, duty to notify of accidents, health surveillance, and special measures for laboratories and health and veterinary facilities. The Schedules set forth classification of biological agents and relevant containment measures. Implements Council Directives 90/679/EC, 93/88/EEC, and Commission Directives 95/30/EC, 97/59/EC, and 97/65/EC.
