Comprehensive legislation against discrimination.
Defines direct and indirect discrimination (section 2). Prohibits discrimination in education, social protection, healthcare, employment, etc. In particular, section 5 provides for equal treatment with regard to social security and sections 6 and 7 deal with equal treatment in employment.
Also amends Act No. 308/1993 to provide for changes in the status of the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights which ensures the legal protection to victims of discrimination.
Amends numerous other acts.
