Prohíbe a los menores, entre otros, los trabajos que implican exposición a radiaciones ionizantes, atmósfera de sobrepresión elevada, sustancias cancerígenas,radioactivas, asfixiantes o explosivas, manipulación de aparatos de producción, almacenamiento o utilización de gases comprimidos, soldadura eléctrica o a gas, corte a fuego, o que se realicen en espacios confinados, pistas de aeropuerto o fondo del mar.
