Abstract/Citation
Makes provision for, inter alia, contracts of employment (duration, trial period, forms of contracts), minimum age, occupational safety, wages (Payment,, termination of employment, rest periods, medical examinations, maternity, paternity and parental leave, child care leave, ships' committees (membership, duties, etc.), use of coercion, freedom of association, right to request inspections, and penalties. Repeals the Seamen's Act (No. 341 of 1955).
