Brings Part IV of the Social Welfare Act, 1993 into effect from 25 June, 1993. Part IV of the Act aligns and consolidates the existing provisions relating to general administrative arrangements, powers and duties of social welfare inspectors and offences to apply a single set of provisions in relation to these areas to all social welfare schemes.
