Abstract/Citation
Provides for the rights and duties of trade unions. Included among their responsabilities are the organization, education and encouragement of workers to build and defend the socialist fatherland of Vietnam, and to disseminate information to promote the application of laws and the Constitution. Under section 1 trade unions are placed under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and are to be a "school of socialism" for workers. Replaces the Law on Trade Unions of 5 November 1957.
