Abstract/Citation
Provides for protection of employees that are contracted out from one employer to another, especially with respect to employment protection standards and social insurance matters. The Act's scope of application is described in section 1 of this Act. In principle, employers who contract out employees to another employer do not need a permit if the contracting out will not last longer than 6 months. The employer who hires the employee temporarily assumes the responsibilities of the regular employer. In addition, the employee must agree to the temporary employment transfer and the the temporary employment must not entail disadvantages regarding working conditions and payment. The employee's regular position shall not be put at risk during the temporary contract. S. 9 prohibits the contracting out of employees to enterprises which are on strike. Consolidated text.
