Second Region

Provides for the insurance and payment of contributions of self-employed persons. Applies the Social Security Act, 1975 to self-employed persons as they apply to all other workers. Establishes the eligibility for insurance. Provides for the insurance of self-employed persons outside of Dominica. Regulates the consequences of the termination of a persons's self-employed status. Establishes rates of contributions and regulates the payment of contributions. Sets penalties for late payment. Governs exemptions from payment. Sets penalties for offences.
