Abstract/Citation

Comprehensive legislation on sustainable management of the environment. Establishes an Authority as a coordinating, monitoring and supervisory body for this purpose. Section 4 establishes that every person has a right to a healthy envrironment. Section 56 provides guidelines for management of toxic and hazardous chemicals and materials, and Part VII deals with pollution control.
