Abstract/Citation

Amends the Social Security (Classification) Regulations, second schedule (concerning payment of benefit to foreigners); the Social Security (Persons Abroad Voluntary Contributors) Regulations 1976 concerning payment of contributions; the Social Security (Collection of Contributions) Regulations concerning contributions. Also deletes the First Schedule; the Social Security (Self-Employed Persons Collection Area appointed Days and Calendar Quarters Order 1997 (S.R.O. 53 of 1997) concerning date of entry into force (now Order deemed to have come into effect on the 1st day of January 1996); Repeals the Social Security (Extension of Coverage) Regulations (S.R.O 33 of 1989).
