Establishes, inter alia, the following provisions and definitions: general provisions on the migration legislation, main concepts, participants of the migration process, migration registration of foreigners and persons without citizenship, entry into the country and exit of citizens of Azerbaijan, foreign citizens and persons without citizenship, the required documents for their entry and for their temporary stay, procedure of permit for temporary stay and for permanent residence in the country; also regulates the labour migration of the citizens of Azerbaijan in abroad and the labour migration of foreigners in Azerbaijan, including state control and regulation, the procedure of granting permit for labour activity, of refusal, the legal state, the rights and duties of foreigners and persons without citizenship, deportation of illegal migrants.
